OnxEban is the community funding arm of Onx Law. It exists to reinvest in the communities we serve and the organizations that help keep them safe, supported and informed.
(01) — The name
Inspired by Eban
The Onx emblem takes its inspiration from Eban, an Adinkra symbol from Ghana. Eban means “fence,” and it stands for safety, security and love — the protection a home gives the people inside it. OnxEban carries that idea beyond our clients to the communities around them.

Helping communities feel safer, stronger and better informed.
Every injury happens to a person, and every person belongs to a family, a street and a neighborhood. OnxEban exists so that Onx Law’s work reaches beyond the people we help one case at a time, to the communities that surround them.
OnxEban focuses on prevention, recovery and understanding: helping prevent the kinds of harm our clients face, supporting the organizations that help families recover, and making sure people know their rights. We intend to give with care, work alongside the people already doing this work, and be open about what we support and why.
